Intégration:

man the title gave me a heart attack, and then I saw the most horrible word: vision.

Nevertheless, Ca nous montre qu'une tour de 172m n'est simplement pas asser haute, il faut 180-190...au moins. Mais nooooon, dans 10 ans ils vont sans doute construire un condo-ala Laval de 9 etages avec 3 metres de faux gazon en avant. You can quote me on that.

I would laugh if that happened. Something like those 4-5 story yellow brick buildings with a lawn, etc.

Honestly though, I don't see us getting anything over 40 stories for 20 years.

We're lucky enough to be getting the 400 Sherbrooke as it is...

But someday, i'm confident, something decent will be built on that lot, and many others like it.

Montreal, c'est pas haut, mais au moins c'est dense!

une 200m serait encore mieux mais dans l'autre sens ça ferait plus de densité dans la continuité des tours qui sont devant et derrière sur RL...

Je trouve que la hauteur de ta tour est optimale: j'ai toujours cru que cet emplacement méritait une tour de taille intermédiaire entre IBM Marathon et CGI pour faire comme un effet d'escalier.

En plein ça mon raisonnement. Je veux voir une nouvelle tour de 200m+ un jour, mais pas à cet emplacement là. Je verais plus par dessus la gare centrale ou quelque chose, pas loin de la PVM.

J'aimerais bien voir pousser à Montréal un gratte-ciel sans une base proéminente, et même encore plus poussé que ça, un gratte-ciel reposant sur une base semblable à celle du citicorp center à New York. Ca augmente l'espace public au niveau de la rue, car on peut intégrer un parc ou une plaza, en plus d'être une belle réalisation technique.

Serait-il possible de simuler la vue du 40e étage? j'espère que le côté plat du 1250 R-L occupe pas 3/4 du paysage!?

2009? la construction doit commencer imminemment! si la plupart des unités et de l'espace à bureau est vendue...

Cataclaw -- I would turn that tower 90 degrees, so that the wide parts are facing north-south. As it is most views on the east are blocked by the IBM tower and likewise on the west by the new towers there. But there are open views to the north and south. Keeping the tower up against René-Lévesque would minimize as well the obstruction of views from the IBM tower.
Must be fun to work with that stuff. Nice creation.
