I liked it. Cool old streetcars, and plenty of great old autos with the big fins. Thanks for sharing your find Sub Lou.

I like the guy running to jump on the streetcar at 1:08. You never see that anymore.

Well, maybe on SF cable cars...

The music is so silly! God, what I would give to have those streetcars back.

Absofuckinglutely sweet! Like Gasm, I'd give anything to have the streetcars back. It's great to see how lively the St. Louis street scene was then as well.

I particularly dig the segment featuring Olive Street downtown- you can see the Scruggs Vandervoort & Barney department store (now the Syndicate Lofts/Ninth Street Garage) in the background, along with the Old Post Office, the Chemical Building (now called the Alexa), and the Famous-Barr (now Macy's) skybridge.

For better or worse, I dig the typical 60% of mid 20th century St. Louis footage that leaves me thinking WHERE THE F*&^ is THAT?

That's one of the coolest films I've ever seen. I mean, I've seen lots of streetcars and love them but I've never really seen them in action. They just kind of had this magical floating air about them...it looked beautiful, I doubt we'll ever have anything like them again.
