MELBOURNE | 58 Clark Street | 106m / 347f | 36L

Another more notable proposal. Designed by Rothe Lowman - who are churning out quality proposals left, right and centre of late.

It abuts the West Gate Freeway (which is the dividing line between Southbank and South Melbourne as well as the City of Melbourne and the City of Port Phillip) and will be a good bookend to the skyline. City of Melb has a very large structure plan for Southbank - basically making the whole area a forest of towers, and City of Port PHillip are notorious for appealing against proposal which even overshadows their City! (total twats).

Anyhow, it's notable as it's another proposal that goes with the sky-garden concept (like 276 Russell - see other thread).

Great! I'm really impressed with the number of highrises Australia builds. The window treatment on this one is unusual.

The facade reminds with all the squares reminds me of the Chase Tower in Houston. Hmm but I do like the trees...

Not to speak for everyone (but I will anyway) - you bet we do! Beautiful design.
