in regards to my post? Not sure I follow. I have a balcony from which I can see down Milwaukee Ave. Hence the excitement with the original post with that perspective (albeit from a shorter distance).

For us skyscraper nerds, it would be nice to see some quality photos from your balcony of downtown. =)

To clarify, my balcony is on a lower floor and I don't have much of a noteworthy view. Hence why I was so interested in the bit I could see down Milwaukee.

Having said that, I do have a decent camera and may return with one of my many collected dusk shots.

^Indeed it is. They're pouring the core again today. Also, the defining arch has reached its pinnacle in terms of height.

I am having trouble linking the article, however Crain's is reporting that Morton Salt is leasing 2 floors in the building and moving their HQ to this location

Morton Salt plans new HQ in West Loop

Morton Salt's headquarters and a satellite office for Allstate are ticketed for a West Loop development along the Chicago River, continuing a run of deals for the two office towers under construction downtown.
Chicago-based Morton Salt is working to finalize a lease for two floors, or about 52,000 square feet, in the 52-story River Point tower being built at 444 W. Lake St., according to sources.
Morton Salt would join Northbrook-based Allstate and Boston-based LEK Consulting, the two most recent tenants to sign leases in the tower, for 13,250 and 26,000 square feet.

123 N Wacker just can't catch a break!!

Will be interesting to see what happens to the older stock of large blocks of space left behind from tenants moving to these new beauties.
