Wow, Calgary is really impressive. Who ever thought there was so many people out and about walking around? I guess I always assumed it was a bit of a ghost town in the center during winter.

It used to be a ghost town during the winter and after five on weekdays. In a city that is growing as fast and smart as Calgary is, things don't stay the same for long!

Thanks a lot guys! Glad you're enjoying the pics.

Calgary used to be a ghost town even in the summer lol

Calgary was definitely a ghost town in the winter as is much the case with Canadian cities in winter, but in recent years, it has changed a fair bit. I see lots of people activity all months of the year....except on days when it's really cold, which does tend to happen

It does vary. It's absolutely gorgeous out tonight, and Victoria Park is positively buzzing right now!

The look and feel of this city has changed so much even over the last few years. So much intensification happening not just downtown but across the entire inner city. Rollin Stanley and crew doing great things with city planning.
