Seem like they may have a problem with their crane.

^^ Yes, and I feel it is inevitable. Lamb is looking like a bit of an amateur amongst the other developers working the beltline.

Finally some real good progress on 6th and Tenth. Hard to see from the photo but they are two storeys above the podium.

Thanks Chad.

Really picked up speed!! 6 floors down working on 7th.

On the 6th floor the concrete wall that is West facing I believe will be going up the whole building. All the windows you see in the render on the West portion of the grey brick side will not be there and will only have a small window. Was told this by the sales lady a while ago.

You can see the wall in Unit 4's floor plan.

http://6thandtenth.com/pdf/6x10_04.pdf

Seemed certain because I was asking about the issue with seeing directly into another unit's bedroom from my balcany (unit 3). Design was probably changed due to privacy too.

Likely a structural requirement, this type of thing is pretty typical.

Contrasting Cladding Panels Installed at 6th and Tenth

Quote:
The Toronto development team of Lamb Development Corp and Fortress Real Developments are building a new 31-storey addition to Calgary's Beltline district, which has begun cladding installation. 6th and Tenth will contain about 230 one-bedroom to two-bedroom plus den units ranging from 450 to 1,950 square feet. Starting from the low $200,000s CAD, the more expensive layouts are expected to fetch $1 million and above.

Does anyone have a sense when occupants will be able to start moving in? Of course the signs say Sept '16, but perhaps it's more like July '17 (?)

Eagerly awaiting to live here

It is moving along pretty fast now, next summer is achievable. Either way there is a provision in the purchase contracts where buyers can back out and collect their deposit if title transfer doesn't occur by June 30th 2017.

Drone Flyover Shows Steady Climb of 6th and Tenth

Quote:
Calgary's strengthening reputation as a thriving metropolis attracted investment from three provinces to the east, where the Toronto team of Lamb Development Corp, Fortress Real Developments, and Core Architects have partnered to bring the striking new condominium to a bustling part of the city.
