This is false, the glass is perpendicular to the ground. I've seen the facade specs, there are still 7 different glazings being used on the facade as well. Also, the specs make the earlier "pin stripes" make more sense. There are sheer walls running the length of the building where those stripes were. Now those walls are being hidden in favor of the more horizontal facade texture.

The sales center will be in The Coast, and they're still building out the space.

^ True, and also I think it was Pilsenarch that mentioned one VE move here was a decrease in floor-to-floor heights.......so, nobody should be surprised if such is the case with Vista Tower (not that that matters though, because height matters not - rather architecture and urban design really do......

^I've just heard from a very, very reliable source that the tower would still become Chicago's third tallest.

I hope to find out more information tomorrow.

I hope that's true.

If I remember correctly a few weeks back I read they sold out of condos, perhaps they might add a few floors?

I know wishful thinking but it would look good noticeably taller than AON.

It was the post relating to the leasing presentation, and how that show sold out.

unless plans have changed, my understanding was that there are 93 floors above upper wacker and 5 floors below upper wacker for a total of 98 floors.

^^ At bKL's open house over the weekend, I noticed a chart on someone's desk with floor heights for the top five floors. 12'-somethin for 97 and over 13' for the 98th floor.
