Renderings and photos of Winnipeg

It seems our city doesnt get much "hype".

I'd love to see some photos and renderings of the Peg, as i am constantly crowded with toronto, montreal, calgary, and vancouver shots/renders.

i will post my own renders and shots as well (not the best photographer but i guess its time to learn)

looking forward to seeing what others have got for the community

Keep them coming.

Can you do them from any angle? If so, can you do one from about 300 meters over the midtown bridge?

Rendering Album

about 300 metres above midtown (i think)

far view of the length of downtown

evergreen place from 300 assiniboine

closer view of the zoomed out shot

mid city looking south

what it might look like biking along the esplanade riel

area where we need a few higher 'scrapers

More views and more models to come. im not going to be on as much, last day of school was today BUT i have a concussion so i need to rest up

how do i make them?
i model them in sketchup and the geo locate them.

if you meant how do i put them in, you can download them from the 3d warehouse and then import them. there are tutorials on how to do so for all models.

I'm pretty sure d-condo would have more information on their zoning application to the city. Should be in records somewhere and likely some one would of posted a link to it here.

Thanks again for providing some realistic renderings for a future Winnipeg skyline. They are much better that my previous red box done in paint renderings.
