Calgary's most prominent ugly hotel is the downtown Hyatt which sits right across the street from Telus Sky:

A blight on our skyline. The blue roof in particular is so garish.

The most depressing place I have been in all of Canada was on a work trip trapped at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missingsausage's industrial wastelands. This intersection is where hope dies:

. Toronto's is a tie between the Sheraton and the Doubletree, both down the street from each other.

Between the ugly stucco bunker you were trapped in and the Canada Post Sorting Centre I say this wins for today .

Those are drab but forgettable. They can blend into the urban fabric. This tries to be noticed and stands out like a sore thumb:

This is true, well then how about Mississauga's Four Points?

The side of this beasty looks like the pattern on Cineplex Theatres.

That is bad. The horrible colour palette reminds me of Edmonton's Four Points Shitatonne:

Horrendous beyond words. The cheap warehouse ceiling pairs nicely with the log cabin aesthetic.

Not from Canada, but try going down this road and not blowing chunks.

How do they advertise these places? Close proximity to the airport and [INSERT LOUSY OVERRATED CHAIN RESTAURANT HERE]. Sidewalks not included.
