The mayor is for it, but the city council is overwhelmingly is against it. The mayor is even using her veto to try to make it happen. I don't see this ending well for the Paris project; time will tell I guess. Paris has that museum complex where they want to keep the city untouched, and fear development. Luckily in NYC, people who think like that are laughed at. Preferably spit on.

^ Love it. This should have been built on the Brooklyn waterfront, where it would be more visible and appreciated.

This is up there along with the Mercedes House as one the more catchier developments. The design is unique for the city, and it complements the Hudson river skyline well.
