Those all started prior to COVID.
What we are seeing now are a lot of proposals trying to lock in zoning in the hopes that there is a going to be a recovery and a massive return to downtown in jobs, hotels, and the trains are going to be full of commuters.
But investment can be extremely cautious and even fickle. Good leaders (a rarity in 2021) who understand this need to court it, reassure it, pet it and massage it, tell it "everything is going to be okay".
Post-COVID I have my reservations that huge new construction starts could potentially dry up.
