Before the World building was built in 1890 there was held a competiiton for it's designs. This is the building proposed by architect R.H Robertson

WHOOPS, 100 floors? Hehe uhm ignore the title.

BTW I made a 3D model of this building which was once the TALLEST IN THE WORLD. I'll place it in the downtown edition of my thread.

Changed it for ya. Looked like 18 floors on the side view plan to me. Also, it's in the Never Built category by now
