It is not fair to judge Aura yet. Aura wont look its best until the exterior is finished and cleaned.

More to come

Still waiting for confirmation of this, but there have been reports online of a construction worker falling to his death at the Aura Construction site at Gerard and Yonge.

Word is that the government of Ontario, Ministry of Labour has sent investigators to the scene to follow up. The worker fell 55 floors from the 70th floor of the under construction tower to an adjacent 15 storey building.

There have been no other deaths reported at this construction site so far. The building began construction in the winter of 2010 and will be completed in the new year of 2014. At 78 floors it is the tallest condo ever completed in Canada.

Nice to see that a city skyline is starting to appear north of City Hall. Up till now it's been a case of 'where did the city go?'

I thought originally it was going to be over 900ft, as it was due to be something like 83 floors. (Although my memory doesn't remember exactly and I can't be bothered to search through dozens of pages to find where I read that.)

Originally it was supposed to be 60 floors. Then it was increased to 70. Then a further increase to 75, and finally yet another increase to 78.
