This is accurate.

Global Warming and the Antarctic are being brought up in the discussion when you clearly state, "regardless of the cause"?

What does the South pole have to do with North Pole,(polar opposites) when it comes to Polar Bears and their diminishing habitat in the Arctic? Misdirection at it's finest.

Assiniboine Park Zoo gets thumbs-up

THE Assiniboine Park Zoo has become one of only five Canadian zoos to be accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

"Only zoos and aquariums that meet the highest standards are accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums," said association president and CEO Jim Maddy in a news release. "The community should take great pride in knowing that Assiniboine Park Zoo is a proven leader in the care and conservation of wildlife, and in inspiring people to take action to protect the natural world."

The accreditation process includes an on-site inspection by a team of trained zoo and aquarium professionals, and the zoo was graded in areas such as animal care, veterinary programs, conservation, education and safety.
