That crane you see is Commerce Place which was finished the following year. Unfortunately Edmonton's skyline has been pretty much frozen in time since then in spite of a healthy growth rate.

^little change for Edmonton since 1990. I am expecting more but turns out only Epcor and the twin Icon towers. It could be Calgary sucking most of the development.
