That might be awhile... lol if you want, I'll update either this thread, or my first 3 posts in the current stickied thread with your stylings.

That's the idea. That way, I can work on cleaning up my own thread on SSC and do any of the necessary modifications before I post it on here.

^^ Conversation in the other thread please. WEM has not started its expansion plans yet. (I doubt they do much in these high cost times...)

Why could this not just be the first page of the construction thread, continually edited, instead of wasting space as a sticky thread? Boris does it just fine for the Calgary one.

"wasting space" "do like boris does" "must follow what the Calgary thread does"
Just because one person does it, doesn't mean it has to be followed or that its the correct way of doing things. If you want to look at the correct way of doing things based on what other cities do, both these threads should be in the City Compilations section...

Many people have suggested creating a separate thread for the renderings. Why doesn't Boris follow my lead, and create a separate thread for Calgary renders?

You want to talk about wasting space? How about those numerous posting parties back in the days of the post limit of 2000, where the last 150 or so posts (of the Calgary C thread) would be a complete waste of time, just so you could turn to a new thread ...

What does it matter? Wasting space on the internet... There's a new one. "Oh no, I have to scroll a quarter roll to get below the 1 extra stickied thread" Surely you've spent a heck of lot more time parasing through the garbage posts at the end of the Calgary threads in search of real information then having to look past this one stickied thread... to me, you sound like your just looking to whine about something.

Anyways... I think "we" will be reverting back to the original formula to "do like boris does" when the next thread starts. Xelebes should be ready to go with his new format by then.

Maybe you should create a poll... and figure out what method people think is best...Not everyone is that forum savvy, and may not know how easy it is to find the first page.

I know that myself, I am anxious for the East Jasper and Fort Road redevelopments, as I think these areas have so much potential to blossom into vibrant communities.

I also pray that something be done in the Kingsway Mall area where I currently reside, aka the ghetto; you can't even walk down your own street without being harrased for cigarettes or changes, literally every day or every second day.

The Calgary model of one thread fits all maybe efficient but its hardly welcoming to the casual viewer or a stranger looking for something a little more specific. Exactly how many times in the Calgary thread have newbies been directed to the development portfolio?

Partially updated front page to fix links, update status & photos, some new projects added... still a few to go yet, but now's the time to review & let me know what's missing.

Thanks in advance & thanx to Feepa once again for doing the lions' share of the work

I think you've got the location for Opus incorrect. I'm pretty sure it's not 105 Ave.
