The Development Permit has been submitted to the city, I do not believe it has been approved yet.

Still hope they can bump the height up about 14-15 meters.

Maybe 57 with mechanical floors?

Interesting note, there are no mechanical floors midway up the building like the Bow. Just one on the 3rd level and then the two floors up at the top of the building.

Bigtime: 3 more mechanical floors is what they need. At 18' a floor that'll put it at about 870'!

I finally got the diagram looking acceptable. Those corners are tough to get looking just right, but my drawing still needs improvement...

They can easily accommodate 1000' on that site.

Update from today. First building fully demolished, demolition continuing at main building.

Looking good Koops! It's a tough one with the tapered corners increasing with the height, but I think you nailed it based on what I have seen so far.

Does the diagram taper in a few pixels? Don't think the building actually does, at least not according to the DP drawings we saw.

With the rounded corners, the building would taper slightly from that view.

exactly... even if the outer walls dont taper inwards, the rounded corners that get more round as they rise higher causes a taper on the corners, and should be very noticable.

The site remains quite similar as they are doing the demo on the inside right now. Lots of salvage bins as well as big demo equipment ready to go.

I did not realize that the second tower had any substantial height, but it looks to be taller than Scotia Centre. That will really add some density along 7th Avenue.

Nothing yet. They're still doing demo work. I suspect this building will be a year or so away.
