Are the buildings with the open windows in the foreground occupied?

I believe so. Looks like its a minor renovation of the base facade. (In the second pic - left).

The VC&PE Tower is topped out, but its still undergoing interior work so thats not occupied.

Shenzhen looks amazing. So many massive, unique towers going up at once. Will Shenzhen rival the other major Chinese cities in the future like Hong Kong, Shanghai or Beijing?

In terms of height, its one of the tallest next to Hong Kong. Shanghai might have more high rises, but Shenzhen is catching up, especially in the super tall game. Many towers over 300m.

So even the stately Ping An has a "for a good time, call..." phone number taped to the side of it. I smell a bubble...

Big update for the region in terms of a super tall / megatall proposal.

A complex style master plan.
