It's a nice town, but the tourism infrastructure is nowhere near as developed as Banff for example. In Aspen they only care about rich tourists, in fact you will be hard pressed to find any activities to do while there.

In Banff on the other hands they have all sorts of day tours running in every season to nearby places and attractions.

First off, amazing photos! Aspen is beautiful.

Pallo: That is just your opinion. I have no idea what you are talking about. There is so much to do in Aspen. What activities are you talking about? When I have been there in the summer time or for the X Games or Aspen gay ski week there are a multitude of things to do.

I am talking about organized bus tours (not private tours where you and your party are the only participants). For example there are no tours to the Maroon Bells in winter at all and there are no day tours to Vail.

Also there are no shuttle services from Aspen to Denver Downtown, you have to go to Vail and then take another shuttle from there.

For those who don't ski or snowboard the range of activities is fairly limited, I was only able to find a snowshoeing tour on top of Aspen mountain.

So it's still a town for the rich since Dm&Dmr. Either buy car to hotel or already have car by mansion.

Do need some characteristic towns like Aspen and Santa Fe. keep it up!
