One of my favorite shots of downtown Calgary. You'd never know that there is a major metropolitan core less than 100 meters to the left of this picture. So peaceful, yet so urban.

As you probably know, late 1920s NIMBYs were staunchly opposed to this brand new building popping up in the historic core, but in retrospect it's nice that they didn't prevail. Food for thought...

Yep, that's looking down Bedford Row from, roughly, the foot of George Street. There's a pedestrian overpass that goes over Lower Water Street.

Another nice one:

Blossoms? Flowers? Today? After I nearly busted a hip falling on the ice?

How dare you!

Lovely pics.

We do get it though Mcminsen, Vancouver has a warmer winter climate than most of the rest of the country. You don't need to do multiple consecutive posts just to prove it. Everyone knows already, this isn't the weather thread. Lovely photos nonetheless.

Great pics on here, especially Montreal and Vancouver. Love the mix of old and new in Montreal and Vancouver, well it's Vancouver so you don't have to say anymore. Canada's jewels for sure.

My apologies. I get the message. I have edited my posts. Although I tried, I'm not sure I can do anything about the images in RueBulmer's post where I was quoted.
