couple hours in --PROVIDENCE, RI--

So it was like the end of January me and my gf took a trip up to Boston to visit one of her girl friends. Our trip couldn't have been at a better time cause the northeast was just hit with a huge snow shower the night before we left(I think the biggest one we had). Surprisingly megabus was still running. Anyways, the day after we got there my gf wanted me to tag along while her and her friend went shopping and got there hair done...yea fucking right...I decided to catch a train to Providence to explore. That shit was cold though, but defiantly worth it. Providence is such a cool little city, unfortunately I only had a few hours to explore. I'm not to impressed with the amount of ground I covered but otherwise a fun photography day, hope you enjoy

Quality shots!

This was a rough winter, but looking at these pictures reminds me that it was kind of fun, too. The snow adds a nice dimension to the beauty of Providence.

Providence is like any other city, it also has some not so good areas and yes, it has single houses of course but as you can see it is a wonderful city with loads of character and it doesnt look like the author even got to Federal Hill but he sure did a great job with downtown and "Down City"

Don't build them like they used to. Has somewhat of a European look to it.

Love these! Great cityscapes, density, wonderful building facades, and excellent photos.

I didnt really see any bad areas, but one thing that stood out were some random underdeveloped areas within downtown. I heard there were some rough areas in south providence and hopefully I will be able to hit those up if I go back this summer.

Great work. Providence has a rock-solid downtown.

It's actually a surprisingly poor city. The 2000 poverty rate was near 30%

Wow! Great job ifeeldope! What a stunner Providence is! A lot of great vantages and carefully planned buildings of long ago. They were able to integrate these gems with deliberate care, leaving space for parks and squares. The only scars are some of the more recent banal bldgs; but that is the featureless feature of all cities...

WOW!!

Thank you very much for your pictures, ifeeldope9779!

I´ve liked them very much, specially long exposure pictures by night.

We were by mid of January in Boston and I can say that this was a very cold and snowy winter, but I liked it so much...

Providence seems to be a pretty and a quiet city. Really, all US Northeast is pretty, and I´m in loved with it.

Greetings from Madrid, Spain!
