Sure Beirut had her glory in the past, but it is improving every day with all it's new projects.
The Lebanese have put a GREAT effort to preserve their downtown and renovate it. I am amazed
everytime I see it and to think that this was the downtown they had in the 1970's is just astonishing!

Cool. I think that once the presidential crisis is over (which I think will be soon) Beirut will again become like it was in 06 before the Israel Hezbollah war and become a destination again.
