They've added a couple more sections of lighting at the top of the southeast facing portion of the building. One of the new sections is rotating among 4-5 different colors. It should provide a neat affect once they install it all the way around the top.

Yay!!!! Finally more multi changing colors. I think it will really give the city skyline a warm and festive look. I really like the lighting on the Ashton. It's actually my favorite of all the residential lighting.

I finally saw the rainbow colored lights on the hotel along Lavaca. I love how the colors move around in different patterns. I'd like to see that lining the top of a highrise.

I have decided that the reason this building looks kind of interesting is because of the way it is perched atop the parking structure. It is oddly positioned up there, and I think it actually looks kind of appealing as a result. I hope I still feel this way in a few years when the novelty wears off.

That parking garage still doesn't look finished.

I don't mind garages for podiums as long as they have interesting facades and some kind of organic interaction with the street. The south and north facing facades are decent, but I can't stand soulless concrete walls. I know they don't have to, but I wish more developers would commission murals on their blank walls.

Has NOBODY seen the new lighting scheme on what I can likely confirm to be at least on the west side of this building? It looks like the icicle lights people hang on trees sometimes, if what I was seeing was correct. Someone get a picture if you can!!!!

I'm DT now but I didn't see the building lit. I'll double check.

I saw it last night and I noticed it only on the west side too, but I only checked the west and north side of the building. It's unique and a welcome surprise.

Wow. That's pretty cool. See, now that's sort of what I was thinking for the lighting on University House. Both buildings are designed by Rhode Partners, by the way. This may not be some huge grand building, but I still say it's on a level above some of the other projects we've seen so far.

I was thinking the same thing. Are those plain white???!!! Please tell me those can change color because white is getting old really fast IMO. With the kinds of lighting options that are out there why settle for plain and boring...

We were wallking past 7 last weeekend and just randomly stopped in and asked them to show us around. They did! Units are really nice. Thought the vibe of the building was great. Didn't feel like apartments... was condo quality.
I'd live there!

The lights around the top of Seven are finally on! They have it cycling between all the colors of the rainbow. The picture makes it look as if it is white, but the video link shows the colors.

By the way what's the song playing on the vid? I like it but it's too short for me to figure out what song it is.
