Well everybody thought Hines was dithering on Montreal...well, well, well, Look who's working on another big key project!!!!!!!!





Viger Project
Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Viger will be a 19-story, 828,000 square foot mixed-use project consisting of a 225,000 square foot hotel, 185,000 square foot of retail space, 385,000 square foot of residential space with parking for 1,400. The hotel portion includes the redevelopment of a 150,000 square foot historic chateau-style hotel.

y a rien sur la map a part un contour rouge a peine visible autour de l'emplacement du futur hotel.

La sur-utilisation de smiley pour ce genre d'annonce est innaproprié. Je croyais que l'on parlait de quoi de plus gros que 19 petits étages!
Marty devrait utiliser le ratio 1 smiley = 1 étage.

C'est déjà une bonne nouvelle en soi qu'un des plus beaux édifices fin 19ème/début 20ème soit rénové. Depuis le temps. Cela devrait revigoré un quartier qui en a bien besoin et malheureusement pour eux, repousser les clochards du square Viger hors de ce secteur.

ce quartier a beaucoup changé ces derniers années, mais avec ce projet et le CHUM, on va vraiment remarquer la différence.

19 étages à cet endroit? Wow, la tour de Radio-Canada va se sentir moins seule dans le skyline

Les deux terrains vacants à l'avant, c'est là que se situe le Solano non?

i know the promoters of the project just recruited a manager for the hotel, coming from a very presitigious hotel in a highly reputable city

GILBERT m'a envoyé le link de Hines samedi matin qui prend en charge le Chateau Viger; étonnant puisque des Phil O'Brien et Cameron Charlebois ( des gens très ferrés en immobilier) travaillaient ce projet avec Gaspé Beaubien qui a acheté l'immeuble de la Ville l'automne dernier pour $ 9M. Gilbert devait le poster sur son tread.........!
