The entrance sign is to the west of the observatory, so photographing it with the setting sun means I would have to be behind the sign to get both in the same shot. Had to flip the image to get the text the right way.

This is a great thread for people who've never been to Edmonton. Pictures of so many different scenes throughout the city gives you a real good overview.

I know it has been awhile since I did an update to this thread... I blame this on many reasons... 1) New firewall device at work prevents access to any forum with the word "forum" anywhere in its domain name...except during the lunch hour. 2) I've been spending a lot of time away from my desk at work, doing real work (oooohhh-ahhhhh) 3) Its summer out, and I'm rarely on my computer at home...
