You can now see this building clearly from the eastern half of chestnut street. Its amazing how a building like this can stand out so much because there are so few true hi-rises on chestnut to the east of this location. FMC tower will be even more dominant along walnut.

I've got to say, I've always really liked the lighting in the nightime render. I hope the actual building looks like that at night.

I wonder of the same architect designed both Philadelphia Sheratons (center city and University city) and Penn Tower. All look very similar and that late 60s, early 70s disasterous, tear them down immediately, sort of way.

Not sure, but is probably just a reflection of the times when everyone was obsessed with concrete skinned hi rises that look like communist apt towers.
