I wouldn't really count that Marriot as art-deco but it's OK. But it's def not 60-80 floors. That's what we want to see. TALL buildings built today like the ESB, or Chrysler of yesteryear.

I know this thread is a bit old now, but stumbling upon it I felt the need to contribute.

There are a few neo art deco buildings in LA (which makes sense given art deco's prominence in the city.)

A couple that immediately come to mind:

The Californian

The Century

Also a Robert Stern, I believe.

The Californian certainly looks deco-ish.

The Uptown Residences in Toronto:

The building is now complete, but I can't seem to find a decent shot from the front (likely cuz there's no good unobstructed vantage point).

One57 (1,004 feet, New York City) is Neo Art Deco. Or at least has some Art Deco elements.

The Silverstein proposed tower near the WTC on 99 Church Street looks like it has art deco elements.

Not overly fond of it, but it is a damned sight better then most in the area.
This is one gorgeous building. Definitely a good example of art-deco.
