And the Free Press reported, yesterday, that state officials are backing off that conjecture.

EDIT: It seems MDOT says that 58% of the freeway pump houses in Michigan are in "poor" condition, and that 139 or the 165 are in Metro Detroit. The News article, however, also quotes them as saying that even working at full condition wouldn't have much prevented what happened in Southeast Michigan, which was a natural catastrophe.

We need rain in West Michigan too...apparently the whole storm that showed up in Detroit completely skipped us.

LMich: Thanks for clearing that up.

^Yup, sure has. Just coming back to make sure the tents are still held down (..yea that's the best I could come up with). I always loved the Midwest forum... everyone knows your name and things are at a slower pace 'round these parts. I can't keep up with the young whippersnappers elsewhere in the forum. Besides here, I'll probably lurk in the City Photos every now and then.

speaking of whippersnappers, hi Ex-Ithacan!

Hey, is there anywhere on the forums to post found video of cities? I just spent the last 1/2 hour driving through Baltimore on a truck delivery. Actually it's not me driving, but the guy sure got around.
