Question: Future Montréal–Trudeau train station

Does anybody have more information regarding the existing train station under the Marriott hotel at the PET airport?

It appears the original plan collapsed with the recession, but there now exist an underground station - which I was not aware of till a few days ago. If you look @ the video, the existing station has the same design.

I searched but found very little information on the web though.

This project has been proposed for years, but there seems to be misunderstandings between the MTQ, CN, CP, ADM and AMT regarding the use of the tracks and the cost. Plus, the AMT wants ADM to not only build a link for the airport, but also the West Island. So I believe we'll have to wait a couple more years before any decision is taken...

^ I guess that is just bad planning and too much bureaucracy. That is too bad for us...

Yep, bad planning and bad governance. Building that railway link should be one of the top priorities in the entire province, but instead it's a complete mess and a total embarrassment for this alleged metropolis,
