When I was young I was so into skylines and fancy shots of the city, but as I am growing older and right now at this moment, I prefer to appreciate the street corners of every city no matter how shiny, shabby, messy or shitty and I don't care as long as they are real-life existing.

You always bring me out of my SSP hiatus with MSP shots. Thank you for this.

It has become noticeably grittier in the last year. There is enough development pressure in the city that I suspect the burned out buildings will be redeveloped pretty quickly.

I lived in Minneapolis September 1972 to June 1 1993. Lived for awhile around Loring Park on Oak Grove Street, then a few years in Cedar Square West (38th floor of the McKnight Tower) and 5 years @10th/Chicago in Eliot East. Thanks for the updates to the city!

It's fun to travel through my old neighborhood. You catch the underside of the city, not just what others like to show, the shine and glitter. I don't know how you find all that street art.
