There was a big Mammoet mobile crane at Eau Claire Tower last night. I'm assuming for a crane install. I'll try to confirm if I'm in the area today.

I can't confirm this but if anyone else can.... Looks like a crane is going up at Eau Claire Tower judging by KW5150's pic here:

Nope, apparently that was for mechanical work on the existing Shaw tower seen in the picture.

Has anyone noticed if there is a crane at First? They were putting a crane base in about a week ago.

Nothing there yet, at least that I can see from Memorial drive.

Saw a mobile crane there this morning, so this might be the day they finish installing it.

Don't think we'll break the 75 mark, especially cause this cycle has been more staggered. Lots of the developments that started in 2011 are already past the crane stage. Would like to see us hit 60 cranes at some point in this cycle though.

Saw a red section of tower crane at the Meredith Block yesterday evening. I haven't been close enough to see if they have a crane base in or if they are going to anchor this one on the edge of the development (like the Guardian).

Really?? I thought they finally just finished pile driving, and starting excavation. Wasn't expecting that.

Yup, that's why I think this crane may not go in the pit to come, but will instead be on the north edge of the development and anchored at ground level. This is what Guardian has done with both of their cranes.

Added Outlook (Waterfront III) to the list, most of the vertical sections are up and a Mammoet is on site this morning.
