On another note, Rich Melman, of the Lettuce Entertain You restaurant conglomerate, was being interviewed on WGN yesterday. I didn't catch the entire thing, but he was talking about this project as if he were the developer. Does he have a stake in RP or is he looking to sell steaks from RP? (Pun intended. I'd prefer the latter, seeing as he cranks out some fantastic eateries)
The river walk is where they're going. One is being installed as I type this.

Never seen a sleeve put in with a vibrator before - impressive (and LOUD).
Thx for the heads up.

They were erecting a new fence around the perimeter of the west side of the site when I walked by it this morning. Excavators are also still digging around.

They've planted a few trees today along the river walk area.

Today they finished digging what looks to be a 50 X 20 ft hole on the western part of the site, which they started on Sunday. It might grow again tomorrow.....

But then again, maybe it's just a deep grave that the Rahmaster had dug for the T-R-U-M-P sign......Chicago style......no better way to get rid of something than to bury it underneath a glass, steel, and concrete skyscraper that isn't going anywhere for at least 100 years!

They've since re-graded the entire site a few feet down and the hole is gone now....not sure why they dug it in the first place?

Excuse my ignorance, but does that just mean "drying" the soil out before they start construction by digging a "collector" hole for the water?

Great news! Is the compleation date of 2016 for exterior or the whole building with the interior?
