Scenes from Reykjavík

I was in Reykjavík in early June. Before heading out into the countryside to see more of Iceland, I walked around Reykjavík's city center. I will be doing a phototour of central Reykjavík later on, but here's some extra pictures from my trip.

nice, are there a lot of americans there, since that icelandic airline expanded across the midwest with direct flights (and wherever else)? i probably would have gone this summer if i hadn't had surgery and used up all of my PTO.

To answer: yes. It's a 3.5-4 hour flight from Boston, and the Iceland BoT saturates New England (especially Boston) with sexy $250 / person all inclusive weekend getaway offers. My parents go to Iceland 3-4 times a year.

Fantastic pics!

WOW Air? I/we flew out of BWI direct to Keflavik with them. Besides places I think they have been flying out of for a while, such as Boston and Toronto, they are now also flying out of other places, like Edmonton, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, etc.
