I just wanted to bump up the renderings so we don't have to go back and find them in the future

This design is so basic, clean, and straight forward. I am really surprised it has not been used before, somewhere. This tower will be a standout in the Austin skyline. I hope there will not be signage on it. NO Indeed Sign Please.

I wouldn't hold your breathe on the no-sign part. All of their other buildings have giant logos on them. Just look at Domain for the latest example.
Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll just have something prominent in the lobby.

I actually like the Indeed signage and hope that they do have it up there. Austin lacks a major company logo that isn't a bank which can be seen by a lot of people. It's an Austin based company and what better way to showcase a homegrown company which has become the largest job search company in the world than a nice sign on top of what will for a very short time be the tallest office tower.

The design is simple and unique and not something you normally see in a skyline. It will definitely help make it standout to majority of people around the world who don't pay attention to skyscrapers/skylines.

I have to agree. They are character-less glass boxes. And it's a shame that we're letting them get away with building this low quality kind of McOffice Tower.

McOffice Tower... Love that! Sadly for those of us that will never see the inside, that Google Tower was really designed from the inside out as is 3rd and Shoal. The interiors are state of the art and seem to be all that matters for attracting tenants. The exterior is secondary. To justify that opinion, the earliest complex renderings spent a bunch of resources touting the insides not the outsides. They may be ugly as shit, but beautiful on the inside. Which describes quite a few people I know, including me...

It won't matter. At this rate, another 20 years the downtown skyline will be so dense you won't really notice them. Hopefully we'll also have some real signature towers of significant height by then. 6X and others are a great start!

The ABJ has a project update with photos and renderings. The article is one of the ABJ's 3 per month freebies which means it can be accessed if your cookies are cleared.
