Yeah it's rough, I was downtown last weekend and it stands out quite a bit. No clue what's going on.

That being said, while not a big fan of the Canopy Hotel design next door. I was reminded yet again, just how top notch the Domingo Restaurant at its river level is. They incorporated it perfectly and I can only hope future developments use it as a guide.

It went from "when is this tower opening?" to "is this tower opening?"

Somebody should try calling the company who's building it and see if they've been disconnected.

Could be money issues, could be a lawsuit that stopped construction , maybe a supplier issue, or perhaps a GC thing with Jordan Foster Construction? I know we have people in the know here who could shed some light on it

Today I saw numerous workers coming out for lunch at the building and working on the Riverwalk side, simultaneous to the construction of the sidewalk across the street. It's active, unless they're actors paid by the company to fool us...which I doubt.

What I heard is that there was a shipping delay on the siding material and when it arrived, the size of the panels wasn't exactly right. Sending it back and starting over would have taken even more time, so they're doing some manual adjustments on it here.

That's second hand info, so take it with a grain of salt, but makes sense.

No knowledge of new timeframe.

That would make sense and hopefully confirms that this thing won't be grey lol.

The silver grey reminds me a tiny bit of the World Trade Center. This will be an interesting tower, for sure.

Wow I really thought this building would have had more glass. A little disappointing.

I believe this side of the building has the least amount of glass by far.

Commerce Street in front of the tower has re-opened to pedestrians.
