I don't know about that. I've seen some nasty hole photos and some that are pretty fine.

Walked by yesterday. The Southeast corner is their deepest spot.

Looks like an entire extra floor was dug on the SE side.

It still doesn't look like five stories, but they did seem busy on the site yesterday. Maybe fourish. I know the parking levels are pretty short, but that's still not very deep. The lines on the North Canadian Oils building are for the above grade parking garage if that is a reasonable indicator.

Sign of a crane?? That's just crazy talk! That would be a sign that they would actually ready to build something, and they are very, very busy moving dirt around to actually build something. And haven't you heard, their permit to get the permit that permits them to set up a crane expired. And it's a long and laborious process to get a permit, didn't you know. If only they had a construction project manager who could plan these things out in advance and communicate actual facts, but those resources are really hard to find!

I am going to start taking bets.

What will be finished first - Capital Point or the New Stadium (the one scheduled for completion in 2105 in time for the provinces bicentennial)

There have been dump trucks coming and going from the site constantly all day today. It finally looks like a construction site.

^It does that every now and then, but then it goes quiet again.

They've reached 3 floors down on the entire south and east side.

To be fair, if I were a trade I would only work a bit and wait for money before working more.

Hey it's not the speed of the hole, or how deep it is; it's the quality of the digging.

If thefourthtower doesn't mind I'm putting this quote here for keeping track of the timeline.

That would put us at May 6th or 7th.

Let's see, multiply by five and we'll have July 6th. I estimate there's a 50% there will be a crane by the first week of July. That would be way ahead of my previous estimate for late September this year.

Driving by today I noticed 2 back lit ITC signs in a lay down area like the kind that go on cranes. Could it be for real?
