In terms of the material's you may be right, although as we all know "the cheaping" can strike any project. However design wise I'd say Cinema and even Festival are more interesting than this rather basic cube.

I love how many towers are going up in such a small district around here. I might not be a fan of some of the designs, albeit this one is just plain density filler to me, I do believe that it will be quite an impressive sight once they're all built.

The Entertainment District is about to mushroom skyward. Over 20 towers going up over 7-8 square blocks?

Let's enjoy it before it ends.

Which it will for a couple of years once these towers are finished.

I'm still hoping we'll get those Mirvish-Gehry triplets. It's a unique project so could sell well despite the slowdown.

LOVE that classic 3 story building next to the modern glass high rise.

It is a pretty building. Here is some information on it, along with additional photos - http://tayloronhistory.com/2011/08/1...istoric-house/

I love the density in the above picture. Also a nice mix of old and new.

Wouldn't mind seeing Centrecourt develop the parking lot 20 meters west (on the south side) of Adelaide.

I love how this area is starting to feel like a more proper downtown area.
