They're getting the sale of residential units on the lot going. Yet another sign that the project as a whole is getting closer to construction.

Those are the residential components they're selling.

Ok, far from perfect, but residential towers have been banned for so long over here that it's still a little something to begin with. Moreover, this isn't supposed to be any kind of luxury and includes a little bit of social housing, but it's likely to be rather expensive anyway, because of the local shortage of available homes.

They're apparently working on this whole block. I'm not sure about the office components (the tower and the adjacent mid-rise) that may be delayed, but I assume the residential would be built soon enough. These are some additional renderings of them that Vincent had found a while ago and that I had missed.















Quite interesting, this includes both some subsidized affordable housing (what they call social housing here) and some market-rate units. Thus the block as a whole is following both the mixed-use and mixed-income strategies. I find it very interesting.
