Not the craziest prediction considering an average per floor of 3.5 days. It'd need to take them quite a few months dickering with the base not to top out by this time next year. Indeed, even if they don't start the tower proper for another month and a half it will be topped out by this time next year barring any truly spectacular weather issues/crane collapse disasters.

seems like it's beautifully taking its pace.
What height has it risen yet? I guess 25m to 30m right?

Yes indeed the pace is pretty impressive. The core is rising up so fast... for our gret pleasure.
Don't know if I can accurately compare with One57's erection but I remember it went up very fast as well.

Considering the black building I'd say around 30m too.

Imagine having a job you love so much, you get fans on an Internet forum snapping photos of your work, praising your accomplishments on a daily basis.

They've already built four 15,5 tall floors, 5 floors if you want to count the core building system.
So, it is between 62 and 77 feet or 19-24 meters.

How are they making the outer walls? Are they pouring the concrete into forms, I don't see that.

^^If you look at the 56th street cam, you can see the forms for the outer columns stockpiled in the lower left corner.

Thank you sir. I'm sure the people walking by are oblivious to just how tall this tower going up will be.

^ I love that feeling where the tower is just a few stories high and noone cares. Than it's as tall as its neighbors ... and very soon will eclipse them all. Than everyone notices.

So, will 432's facade have beveled edges around each window like in the renderings? I walked by the site recently and the current concrete is more or less flat on all sides.

While I'm sure that most NY'ers will pay no mind to this as just another construction site, once this tower manages to be seen for miles around, those same people will still walk by rushing to their jobs.

What will make these people take notice is when it surpasses 1,000 feet, then you'll begin to see heads turn.

The retail space should get their heads turning anyway.
