Ok I'm really excited about this update.

The lowrise building is just a ordinary lowrise commercial building with a parking garage right beside it, and a parking lot for the Sparks Hotel, and just other parking.

Stateway Express

Anyway here is the responce for Vellu's comment! I have just built another highrise, around 430 feet or so(I didn't measure) and is probably my favorite building so far. It is called Stateway Express which is a major restruant company, and this is their regional headquarters. Also the base is about as thick as the Innercorp building, and the building itself is still pretty bulky.

What do you think?

Right outside of downtown. Notice that the buildings in the block(s) are older, and more spread spread out. This is how Oklahoma City is layed out, and a lot of the Midwestern cities are. Also notice that there are more parking lots. Most of them are small, though.

Please forgive me about the used texture that I used for one of my other buildings in the very back.(orange/blue texture). I needed to just texture it so it would make the render more realistic.

Anyway here are two other lowrise buildings.

Also I am starting to do Billboards again for the outside of downtown. Who wants their city to be in a billboard? Just tell me on here.

wow! I haven't touched Midland for around a month. The time passes by.

Over that time, I've been working on my modern house, and I've been doing some other things outside of sketchup.( I have a life you know) but I think I found some inspiration over the past month.I now know what I want to do with Midland, and I think I will update Midland regulary.

Anyways, here is a new render, and a new block. the block consists of lowrise buildings, and it is right outside of downtown.

Right above the lowrise buildings will be a small midtown(based off of Oklahoma City.) That will be the next district I will work on.Then rihgt beside of the downtown will be a arts/ entertainment district.( loosely based off of Bricktown in Oklahoma City.)

A midweek update.

Looking at a newly built lowrise. It is a glassy one.

Section three is now completed! Now onto the highway, and the entertainment district.

My next update will be some skyline shots.

Thoughts/comments are welcomed and needed!

Thanks Innsertnamehere!

So, one new block- This new "section" consists of one block, two condo highrises and one apartment lowrise. It's called the Wardolf District. It's right beside the residential district so not too far away from the city center. The tallest condo is the Jefferson Condos, and the lower highrise condo is the Wardolf Condos. The Jefferson condo is a branch company of Wardolf Enterprises.

Ahhh, those dang fireflies. Anyone here know how to get rid of them?

And here is the current skyline from the west.

Any Emporis requests?

Thanks!

Expect a update next weekend. I think that will be the last of high-rises, but I think I'll put in some midrises. I hope to start on the entertainment district with a opera house and stuff like that, and then I'll work on the civic center.

What do you guys think?

TrentVille District

TrentVille District is a snazzy, modern, sleek, and a newer neighborhood in Midland. It is also known as the entertainemnt district of Midland. It includes nightclubs, a soap opra building, Convention Center, Sprots Stadiums, and lots more. It is also known for its lively outdoor living with lots of outdorr shopping and many places to eat.

Here is the convention center. The convention Center includes two buildings with a skywalk to connect the two.

Sorry for the fireflies. I had to do some major photoshopping edits to get rid of them, but some still remain since I couldn't get all of them. You should've seen the pic before I edited it.

The next building should be the Opra Building, then the Sports Stadiums with night clubs, and everything.

dammit, I miss this city. I'm thinking of getting back into this one.

If I do, I think I'll redo the city with properly cropped textures. I'd also like to remodel some of the buildings.

What I've done so far:

* Retextured some of the buildings

* Properly cropped textures

* Remodeled and destroyed some buildings

I should have a render within the next few days or so.

My computer crashed.

Midland City will have to be redone with brand new textures. (as I lost them with the crash)

Please welcome!

Midland 2.0

Yes, Midland is getting a rehaul!

This is what Midland City 2.0 will include:

* Real streets

* Properly positioned textures

* New Skyline!

* New textures

Here is the first look of the skyline:

As you can see, most of the buildings and highrises are new. This time, there will be more 30's buildings and more modern highrises.

Please tell me what you think!
