I was at the labour day classic. It was a great game! Too bad we lost. Here is a photo I took on my way to the game...

That's an unfortunate mess.
Here's a simple solution that could be implemented in this province for those traveling to the Banjo Bowl from out of province.

Combine Operator Safety

nasdonline.org

Ensure this diagram is handed out at the provincial boundry.

As game day approaches, I thought, here's a fella who takes getting to the games quite seriously. I wonder if we'll see this fine piece of machinery crossing the border en-route to the Banjo Bowl anytime soon?

He calls it the:

Saskatchewan Prairie Special

After the game, maybe he can make a few passes around IGF and take care of some of the lawn maintenance duties.

Perhaps if folks from Winnipeg weren't so negative towards the prairies rural roots - including their own, they might actually get some Bomber fans from outside the perimeter highway.
From Portage la Prairie:
https://twitter.com/WPGGoldenBoy/sta...79591617945600
also a local Brandon radio poll recently revealed that 75% of football fans in that city were rider fans.
But hey, keep it up, the riders would like to continue outselling all other teams in merchandise sales by a 2 to 1 margin - the funds will be handy for expanding the existing valet tractor parking at the new stadium.

So close, so close, yet so far. I'm not even going to blame the reffing because in the end not even a few missed calls could counteract the disaster that was the second quarter. Bottom line is that after showing flashes of excellence early on, this team is clearly in the mid-tier along with BC and Toronto. Not a bad improvement after the embarrassment of last season, but still a bit of a bitter turn after getting out to a 5-1 start this year.

Easiest route to the Grey Cup for a Western team is to finish 4th in the West and cross over to the East for the playoffs. Calgary is looking strong and the western path to the Grey Cup will have to go through McMahon stadium, I think.

The path of least resistance.
I've been hoping, after the BB's record of late, that we can sneak in via this route.
It will be an interesting stretch run.

Yep, I feel the same.

At least things are looking bright going forward. Willy had 360 yards that game at least, so there was some bright spots in the game there. Hopefully he learns well this year, as a rookie QB he's done fantastic.

Willy is a very good quarterback - apart from the panic attack and going for all the marbles too early at the end of the game - he is a keeper.
All reports I have heard from fans that were at the game say IGF is a fantastic experience.

There's no such thing as a guaranteed win. But I would hope that tonight's game is as close as it could get for the Bombers!

Loss tonight = end of season

It's a huge downer how the Bombers went into a nosedive after such a great start. This team finds new and inventive ways to inflict heartbreak on its fans every single year.

Don't worry. Ottawa is even better at finding new and inventive ways to lose every game.
