Looks like a park and ride. There's another one west of Stittsville - but I can't seem to find it.

That's Casper the Friendly Hydro Tower sitting directly on the NE corner of Richmond/McRae.... rotate the view and you can see Casper's friends on the side of McRae heading North...

I found myself!!!!!!

Black car (with me driving ) on the stopline...

This was taken June 2014, and I remember seeing the mapping car right where the picture is from.... I checked for months afterwards, but maps wasn't updated, then forgot all about it.

Good thing this thread was here to remind me

Just noticed that areas of Hintonburg, Sandy Hill, Lowertown have May 2016 imagery now. Haven't looked all over Ottawa but locations I'm familiar with have been updated with some April, May, June 2016 imagery.

Looks like newer imagery has been updated as the default but you still appear on the timeline imagery

Parts of Aylmer and Le Plateau / Hautes Plaines area near les Promenades as well as Galeries de Hull and probably many others. Some areas are actually from June and others from April as well. Seems they have mostly restricted to main arteries or collector streets in this new batch (as least on the Quebec side)

Currently only on Mobile (app) and Earth. Not the webpage. Hopefully will change soon. Cheers!

Any major areas of the City updated? I looked in a few places and noticed July 2016 imagery but I thought that imagery had been up since September or so.

Google Earth Pro (the version I use) has September 5, 2016 imagery for most of Ottawa. The update you mentioned did not include any areas south of approx Hunt Club.

You can see LRT stations in progress on this update and track laid. Pretty cool in my opinion!

Thanks.. For some reason I thought it was new Google Street View imagery. Google Earth as a stand alone app seems to be losing traction versus the satellite imagery and related street view available through a browser.
