Sad they lowered this one as it is a perfect location within the core.

Boo to lowering the height. It is a great spot. I'm still liking how that will fill in the area. I guess the big boys are going to be a little to the NorthWest now.

25 storeys is still a decent height. All in all, it's a nice looking building. Better a 25 storey nice looking building than a 35 storey boring one.

Enbridge taking ~350k in this tower

100k in Manu as well I believe.

Great news for downtown, looking forward to seeing what moves next now that this one is put to bed.

Seen any clear updated renders? Largely similar to the last set?

Energy giant Enbridge is expanding in downtown Edmonton.

The energy giant on Tuesday confirmed tenancy agreements in the new Kelly Ramsey Tower at Rice Howard Way and the existing Manulife Place.

"Enbridge's strategy is to create a work environment where our employees can collaborate, innovate and succeed, while contributing to the exciting growth within the City of Edmonton," said Enbridge Chief Operating Officer, Liquids Pipelines, Leon Zupan.

"This move will allow us to consolidate our 2,500 workers from six buildings to the two tallest and newest buildings in Edmonton's downtown core."

Currently, Enbridge leases all or portions of six office towers in downtown Edmonton, making the company among the largest private sector tenants in the central business district.

The move will consolidate Enbridge workers in the core to two locations.

"After more than 60 years of delivering energy and growing our business in Edmonton we will be creating and delivering new energy within our city," said Zupan. "This is a strategic and timely announcement that positively impacts our workforce and the growth and vibrancy of Edmonton."

Enbridge offices move to Kelly Ramsey and Manulife towers

BY BILL MAH, EDMONTON JOURNAL

EDMONTON - Enbridge Inc. will move its 2,500 Edmonton employees from six downtown buildings to Manulife Place and the new Kelly Ramsey Tower.

The announcement Tuesday means one of the city’s largest private-sector tenants is staying in the core.

Remaining downtown wasn’t guaranteed during the pipeline company’s search for new office space large enough to consolidate its rapidly growing local liquids pipelines workforce. In 10 years, they’ve gone from one building to space in six buildings.

The company seriously considered 12 options including a south-side campus.

“We looked in the north of the city, we looked in the west of the city, we looked to the south of the city,” said Leon Zupan, chief operating officer of Enbridge Liquids Pipelines.

“This downtown area really works for us. Our employees love being down here. They love the excitement of downtown Edmonton and they’re really looking forward to being part of these two buildings as we move forward.”
