The developers of the proposed supertall condominium at 45 Broad Street are projecting a sellout of $624.4 million, according to an offering memorandum for construction financing obtained by The Real Deal.

Robert Gladstone’s Madison Equities is partnering with Gemdale Properties and Investment, Impresa Pizzarotti & CSpA and AMS Acquisitions on the Financial District project. Great article by YIMBY on 2WTC:

At the end of the day, Foster’s design was custom-tailored to the memorial, the surrounding neighborhood, and the New York City skyline; BIG’s was created specifically for a corporation.

I like both versions, but yeah the Foster one is clearly better for the site IMO. So... build the BIG one somewhere else?

BIG's design would fit the Hudson Yards, or even better Times Square.

Yes, 50 Hudson Yards might be a good place for BIG tower. Fox could move on the 50 Hudson site. Imagine BIG tower behind 30 Hudson Yards (North Tower).

BIG tower is better than the Foster tower, and it's not really an issue, anyways. Silverstein says corporations want the BIG tower.

Potential 66 and 60 floor towers proposed for parcels in the Lower East Side.

1) NEW YORK | 260 South Street | FT | 66 FLOORS

2) NEW YORK | 271 South Street | FT | 60 FLOORS

Just a recap of the pipeline and u/c in terms of major projects for the LES.

1) One Manhattan Square at 80 floors: U/C
2) JDS tower which is slightly over 300m or 1000 ft.
3) 260 S. Street at 66 floors
4) 271-283 S. Street at 60 floors.

I hope the LES becomes another LIC!

^ Amazing. The LES is booming ... and the proposals are pretty ballsy.
