I just made a couple videos of my cat!

BTW that funny pitter-patter sound is this noise my digital camera makes when I record a video, don't know why it does that. Pictures are good quality though, might want to select the high resolution in the Youtube pull-down thing.

Here she is.

Mmmm, raw pork chops. :-/

Ha ha, cute videos 007. Your cat seems very perky.

My cat expects a brush massage every day now. And she gets it but with a catch: I tickle her to death afterwards (which usually ends up in a fight that I always win).
I agree, but that is OK

It's this hot here:

He is pretty lethargic during the day and at night he goes batshit insane with the "OMG!! run to the other end of the apartment for no reason!!!" thing. You would think that since we adopted him from the street he would be willing to eat anything. Not so!! He will not eat people food at all, and he will only eat one kind of dry food. He won't even touch generic dried cat food.

OK, the last couple days I was looking at videos of some exotic breeds. A couple of them are pretty impressive!

This is a Bengal cat - a hybrid of a domestic cat and the Leopard Cat of southeast Asia (a small arboreal cat with markings that looks sorta like an ocelot or leopard or something along those lines).

Video Link

This one is unreal - I was showing it to my own cat, and even she was impressed!

charlie and spike are two kittens with myotonia congenita, otherwise known as 'fainting goat' syndrome. at the slightest sound, the kittens respond by collapsing and falling into a rigid paralysis which lasts about a minute before they return to normal. This condition has hardly ever before been diagnosed in a cat, is rarely found in dogs and is more common in goats. The kittens are able to walk, but they cannot run or jump. aside from this they are normal. sad to report that the black and white kitten (spike) died on 27th october from respiratory failure.

He's very hard to take good pictures of. One, he never sits still. Two, he's black and white.

Amazing photos. What kind of camera and lens is this?

In the last week or so I've determined my cat probably has this. I see a vet on Friday, though when I encountered her first episode last week I also went to a vet and they couldn't find anything wrong. I've been reading up on it a lot the past several days, and sometimes it does not end up good.

I'm very worried about my kitty. She's the sweetest cat I've ever had.

May as well contribute my cats to the thread!

Up until a month ago, I had three cats, but one had to be put down. She was 16, had a cancerous tumor and had stopped eating. So now there's just two but we're thinking of getting another cat from a rescue organization, probably a kitten.

This is Kirby. I've had him since he was a kitten and he's now 7. He came with me from Calgary (not right away though) when I moved to Vancouver. He's been through so much with me and I love him to bits:

This is Elliot. We've had him for about 5 months and he's just a little over two. We got him from a local cat rescue organization. He was living with a feral colony but was a tame cat and was just 'hanging' with them. He was afraid of human contact, especially males, but has since turned in to one of the sweetest and most affectionate cats I've ever encountered. He's also deaf. This was taken a week after we adopted him.

And this was Prudence. She was adopted by my girlfriend at the age of 14 so we only had her a short time. She is greatly missed though:
