okkkkkkkk

im expiermenting at the mo.....trying to create light without using light in kerky....noticed in kery that if ur buildings have holes or unfinished bits of geometry it gives of bits of light...therefore im trying to give immpression of light by putting in holes etc plus reflective surfaces in dark background...

just a bit of messing arounds...havent even used light components or fixtures .....probaly wont

I'm a little confused about how many cities you've got going on here. It really doesn't matter though, since they all look good. I especially like Sampadoria. It's a great futuristic vision.

Thank you toyota. I downloaded Kerkythea and am experimenting with it now. You're renders seem to have very good definition of shadows. You can really see the form of the buildings well. What settings are you using?

I ask because the sketch up work I used to do and have started doing again is very similar to what you have posted. I prefer the un-textured cities.

to eigenwelt.....make a few simple towers in sketch up and turn on sun in sketch up ,then export it to kerky and just render it on custom settings....i dont bother with all the settings...dont bother with skys and reflection for now ,just do simple renders to start...why dont you start a thread, then everyone can give you advice and help you along the way....

Impressive! Reminds me of an old European city. The mixed low-rises and the modern, sleek skyscrapers. It's also very dense and well organized. That render on post 92 looks sexy.
