i think every city's tallest deserves a history, so the tallest

and could we get close ups of the textures to see how well you made them?

Ok, here is the tallest.

The Florida State Building

hight: 1096'
floors: 94
info:
1. The building was completed in 1928.
2. It held the record for the worlds tallest building until 1931 when the chrysler building was completed.
3. Many major companies are housed in the building including Lexon oil and Countryside.
4. Recently General Products has leased space in the building due to thier constant expansion.

Also here a couple close up pictures of my textures as requested.

Some of your shapes are quiet nice. So are your textures but you still need to experiment to make them fit well (try grouping, or divinding them with lines). There might be too many curved facades, and you need to add some rooftops so that the textures don't get all cut loose. But hell it's an amazing start, I've never accomplished such density so far.

Thanks, the reason my textures are not all that great is because I have only had paint.net for about a week or so and I am still experimenting. I have also created a bay city square it's kind of cheesey but I will improve it over time. Oh and the main tower is the new second tallest at about 800'.

Ok, I know the pear is cheesey it was kind of hard to draw, but I will improve it later. Also can somebody tell me hou I can make a better street texture the old one is undetailed. Oh and I wanted to ask if anyone would care if I used a couple of the textures from the amazing textures website. There are only about 12 I could use, I want to use them because I have gotten stumped on making textures in paint.net.

Sorry I havent updated in a while, I have been busy and I have not had much time for ssp. I have made a few more textures today brining my total to 38 and I used 4 from the amazing textures website. I have also added more billboards to bay city square and I have created a news station for the city. It will be either SNN (Southern News Network) or BNN (Bay News Network), you decide. I sneaked in time to take one photo of the skyline, enjoy.

Update, I have finished the grid for the area of downtown that has unlimited hight restrictions. In that district there could be a new city tallest but I still haven't decided. Also I have created two new larger towers the Hexon Corp. buildings, tower 1 is 663' and tower 2 is 758', here is a photo.

I also created a complex of towers on the waterfront which are still to be named. Thier heights range from 244-393' and they will probably be the tallest buildings on the waterfront, here is a picture of those aswell.

Hope you like them, more to come.

I haven't found a good texture for that part. I want to use a glass texture but it is hard to find one.

Update, I have added two more towers to the waterfront and have added a crude beach. Also I have created a tunnel leading to the city on the island which has been named north miami beach. Here is a picture of the tunnel and of my first attempt at rendering the city, enjoy.
