a new york series

This is a series of drawings I made from April-May of 2007, all are 11"x14", except the last, which is 18"x24".

Cool. I like that effect you did. Is that charcoal used over ink on the 3rd pic?

Thanks! Here's a detail of the city in 4:It's a lot cleaner in real life, but my camera sucks-if you have good eyes, you should be able to discern a lot of buildings in downtown, because for the most part they're all there-to some extent it was kind of condensed and exaggerated just to look better for the style of the piece:

I also like to brag that all my city drawings are from memory, so, it's from memory.
