Anyone have any? Anyone got any roof top photos from Place De Ville or anything really tall?

I have some in this thread, but it's from 2009. Flar has some more recent ones. I never get out anymore to take pics.

That's pretty neat! But I would honestly take what we have now over those scattered tall towers. Plus the expanded Place Bell looks like the Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea! Tall towers closer together would look cool though.

There wasn't much method to that madness to be honest. I simply extended the ones that were most easily clone-able in the 10 minutes I allocated to the task. It does look pretty absurd.

I know this has already been posted in this forum, but I thought it might be worth sharing again for those who have forgotten.

But this time, the photographer who brought us Superman Ottawa had done a rooftop photo tour for Montreal, which I highly recommend you check out.

Does anyone know of any accessible roof tops in the CBD? I need to shoot a music video for someone and need some roof top shots.

Actual roof or roof top patio? Skyscraper or mid-rise?

Actual roof top. Preferably skyscraper in the CBD.

Well, the C.D. Howe has a roof top park on the actual roof, but I don't know if it's accessible to the public. You could always go on top of a parking garage (Market area, Place Bell garage or the one next to BMO Tower). There's also a roof top patio on top of Hudson Park, although again, not sure if it's accessible to the public (probable not). You could also try the Westin.

I know you said actual roof top, but I doubt there are any accessible to anyone.

Ok, so I have no clue. Forget about it.

CD Howe's rooftop has had free public tours as part of Doors Open Ottawa. The event is 7-8 June this year.

^ Wow, so cool. Thanks for posting!

Also, the tallest building in that picture is probably one (if not my number one) favorite building in the CBD - Don't know what's its called. but is has thoses rounded corners and seems to be clad with aluminium or something..

Also, add a spire to that Place Bell building and it would almost look like the Empire State Building

Used to be Place Export (when the EDC were headquartered in that building). Now it's Plaza 234, currently being used as the head office of the Bank of Canada while their Wellington Building is being renovated.
