Light Painting

Something I've been toying with lately.
Please share any light paintings you've shot.
I think this would be a great contest theme..

None of the following subects are lit by a fixed source...
In other words, they're all really dark to begin with..

Light painted via 1 external flash and 1 LED flashlight.
Flash was fired 4 times in 30 seconds.
Camera: Nikon D1x - 28-105mm

*******************

roughly the same numbers as above..
apertures ranging from f/6.3 - f/10..

Nice shots.

I like this one:

I've been meaning to set up and try this style for while now, now maybe you've inspired me to do so...

Check out the work of Larrie Thompson, he was the first photographer I ever came acorss shooting this style, he's a very talented artist.

I don't know if it qualifies as using the technique you described, but I went into an area of tall, non-illuminated grass at night a few weeks ago and took a few shots with my flash. The down-side was blown highlights.
